Housing Needs The Housing Needs section of Housing Services incorporates Housing Options, Homelessness Prevention, Homelessness and the Isle of Wight Housing Register. Links to each of these sub-sections are available on the left-hand navigation pane. Our aim is to ensure that all island residents can access a range of options and advice regarding housing, to ensure everybody lives in decent, affordable homes. We work in partnership with other Council departments, Registered Social landlords, and the community to ensure that we are achieving this. Our service is structured as shown below: ![]() We currently have a number of initiatives to assist those that are faced with homelessness to secure accommodation, and are also undertaking a review of the Isle of Wight Housing Register, please look under the separate services in the left-hand navigation for more information on these.
