Royal visit

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II visited the Isle of Wight on Wednesday 19 May, in order to open Beaulieu House, a new respite centre for children. The Queen also visited the Isle of Wight Farmers' Market, Osborne House and Havenstreet Steam Railway. Isle of Wight Tourism has pictures of the Queen unveiling a specially commissioned piece of commemorate artwork, which celebrates the Island’s position as home to the UK’s largest walking festival. Prince Philip visited GKN Aerospace and Cowes Combined Clubs in Cowes.
