Emergency services on the Isle of Wight are combining to deal with a potentially serious incident at Whippingham, East Cowes. (Thursday Sep 18).
The incident began on Thursday afternoon when a vehicle-based welding installation caught fire.
IW Fire and Rescue Service crews continue to train water on three gas cylinders to cool them. They are using thermal imaging equipment to monitor the temperature of the cylinders, one containing oxygen, another argon and the other acetylene.
