About the Site

The web team has developed this portal web site on behalf of everyone who lives, works or visits the Isle of Wight. The site is divided into sections as follows:

Living - this section provides information for everyone who lives, or wants to live on the Island.

Learning - this section provides comprehensive information about all aspects of education and learning on the Island

Working - this section is designed for people who are interested in either working, or setting up a business on the Island

Visiting - this section is particularly aimed at visitors to the Island and provides a range of direct and linked information about how to get to us, where to stay and what to do.

Your Council - this section provides information about your local Council, what we do and how you can get in touch with us.

On-Line Services - although you can access our on-line services from other parts of the site, we have created this area as a one stop shop for the on-line services that are currently available and as a way of telling you which services will be available in the future.
