Homelessness
If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homelessness within 56 days we can
- Provide you with advice
- Offer assistance to try and help you to resolve your situation.
Complete a homelessness enquiry form.
Once we receive a form you we will contact you to discuss your situation and confirm what assistance we can provide for you. Further details of the homelessness process can be found on our Homelessness assessment page.
Island HomeFinder
Island HomeFinder allows people to apply for social housing and existing tenants to find a more suitable home. Once registered, you can apply for advertised properties.
Independent living and extra care accommodation is designed for individuals with a care, support, or housing need. It allows you the opportunity to live independently while offering you access to onsite care and wellbeing 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Supported accommodation
There are also some other pathways available to homeless people
- Single homeless pathway offers a shared place to live with support if you are single (living without any dependants, such as children and elderly relatives)
- YMCA pathway offers a shared place to live with support for young mothers or mothers-to-be
- If you need specialised advice, such as legal or financial help, we can signpost you to the right service.
