These firms have been approved by the Isle of Wight Council's Trading Standards Service and agree to provide a reliable and quality service. For the consumer, whether you're looking for a reliable used car or to have new windows fitted by a reputable company, the Buy With Confidence website takes the hassle out of finding traders you can trust. The approved members have been put in to categories to make businesses easier to find as the list grows.

For Island businesses, being an approved member of the Buy With Confience scheme provides independent recognition of your business standards coupled with increased consumer confidence and recommendations. The Buy With Confidence website includes full information about how to join the scheme including both online and downloadable application forms.

Businesses signing up to their responsibilities set down in the rules to the Scheme will become 'Approved Members' of the Scheme. The scheme also includes a clear statement of the service the Council will provide to businesses.
