Beach Hut & Concessions

The Isle of Wight Council operates a Beach Hut service at the following locations:- Appley, Puckpool, Dunroamin, Colwell, Gurnard and East Cowes. The Beach huts are owned by private individuals to which a ground rent is paid to the Council. The nature of the service is that we do not hold records of current huts that are for sale however these are published when available with local estate agents in the press.

The operation of concessions is also undertaken by the beach and esplanade management service. The concessions are owned by private individuals by which a ground rent or operating licence is paid to the Council.
