RNID
There are regular advice sessions held at the library, usually on the first Thursday of each month. Please check for details.
Silver Surfers
If you are over 50 and want to learn how to use the Internet and e-mail, register for a free 2 hour Silver Surfer Session at Lord Louis Library. Please ask at the Reference Library counter or telephone for further details.
Knit & Natter
A new regular knitting group in Lord Louis Library.
There is a free session on the third Thursday of every month.
Bring along your latest project to the next meeting on Thursday 19th August 6pm to 7.30pm.
Tea, coffee and natter provided!!
In the Gallery:
An exhibition of acrylics and watercolours by Island artist Myrtle Lewis. The artist will be in attendance at the Library Tuesdays and Fridays 10am – 12 noon.
Reading Group
The reading group meets once a month at the library, usually the first Thursday of the month. Please ask at the counter or telephone for further details.
Book Sale
Withdrawn library books and other stock are on sale near the counter in the adult lending library.
CD Sale
CDs that have been withdrawn from stock are available to buy from Monday 12th July. Only £1.50 or 4 for £5.00

Service Description: Children's and adults' books, large print books, talking books on tape and CD, videos, DVDs, compact discs, free internet access, free computer access. Lord Louis Library also has a gallery space for art exhibitions.
