Walk Back the Years on Sandown Library’s Heritage and Reminiscence Trail

As part of the Island’s Celebrating Age Festival, staff at Sandown Library are leading a special Health Walk on Wednesday 29th September. Starting at the Library at 10.00 am they will take you on a tour of the seaside town’s historic past, and give you the opportunity to share your own memories of Sandown. There will be a break for refreshments en-route. For more information please ring the library.

Wear it Pink this October!

Sandown Library is hosting a Wear It Pink Tea Party on Thursday 28th October. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be served all day in the library for a donation to the Breast Cancer Campaign. Everyone is welcome so bring your friends and join in the fun!!

Everyone who enjoys reading is welcome to come along on the last Saturday of every month at 11:00 am to discuss their favourite reads and get recommendations from like-minded people over a tea or coffee. Next Meeting: Saturday 28th August.
