Members Managing Your Details

As a member of the Isle of Wight Trader Approval Scheme you will now need to make your annual membership payments and keep your online presence and details up to date. If you wish to learn more about your responsibility for this please read the web page titled ‘Members Top Tips’.

Top Tip: If you have already created a ‘My Account' please sign in before completing any online application form.

‘My Account’ registration

Register for a ‘My Account’ .

There are two ways you can keep your online information up to date:


You can update your online details by becoming a ‘Self-editor’. This method is free, gives you control over your organisations/services details that appear in the Isle of Wight Trader Approval Scheme. Using this method the changes you make go live instantly meaning your customers and potential new customers get the right information when they need it.

If you have already registered to become a self-editor please access your 'My Account'  to use the self-editing screens.

Request to become a self-editor

For those members that wish to update their online details but haven’t yet registered, please complete the online form ‘Request to Edit My Own Details’ .

Assisted updating of online details

If you are not comfortable with updating your information online and would like assistance with this you can request Trading standards make the changes for you. This service incurs a £25 fee for every application.  There will be a lead time as this work will need to be scheduled in by the Trading Standards Service. The lead time will mean that the requested changes will not go live instantly like the Self-editing option detailed above.

Please note: You will need to ensure you have the means to pay online for this application to be submitted to the Trading Standards Service.
