Primary Admissions Consultation for 2020/21

Consultation on admissions arrangements for Isle of Wight community and voluntary controlled schools.

The Isle of Wight Council must by law determine, before 28 February 2019, the arrangements that will apply to school admissions in the academic year 2020/21. This will include a six week consultation period which will end on 30 January 2019.

You may visit County Hall or the libraries to view and respond to this consultation online if you do not have internet access.

The consultation seeks to establish the admissions policy for admission to Isle of Wight Community and Voluntary Controlled Primary Schools.

There is no change to the Admissions Policy for Primary Intake September 2020.

We are seeking views on the proposed changes:

A reduction to the Published Admission Number (PAN) for the following schools:

  • All Saints CE Primary School, from 30 to 15

  • Broadlea Primary School, from 60 to 45
