In response to the Prime Ministers statement on the 23 March 2020, limiting all but essential movement. The Department for Education are currently working on emergency legislation and guidance in relation to school appeals and as soon as this is published, we will be in contact with further information on when and how appeals will be heard. You can therefore continue to lodge your appeal as normal, however, at this time, we cannot offer any assurances on when and how your appeal will be heard.
Please note that this is for all appeals lodged with the Independent Appeal Service, including in-year, September 2020 entry and Exclusion Review hearings.

Due to the decreased level of staff within the Appeals Service and the increase in those working outside of the office, please could we ask you to direct any queries via email to school.appeals@iow.gov.uk

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
