Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Replacement Blue Badges

Lost

If you have lost your Blue Badge, fill in the ‘Lost/Stolen Blue Badge’ form Click Here  (208KB, 4 pages) and send it back to us with the required documents. There is more detail on the application form about which documents to send.

Stolen

If your Blue Badge has been stolen, report it to the police who will give you a crime number. Then fill in the ‘Lost/Stolen Blue Badge’ form Click Here  (208KB, 4 pages) and send it back to us.

Returning a Blue Badge and expired badges

If the Blue Badge is no longer needed, for example if the badge holder has died or the badge has expired, you can:

  • hand in the  when you register the death, or

  • return the Badge to any Council Help Centre or by post.

Faded badge or name change

If your badge has faded and is no longer clear, or you have changed your name, fill in the ‘Lost/Stolen Blue Badge’ form Click Here  (208KB, 4 pages) and send it back to us.

Cost

All replacement badges will cost £10. Once your form has been processed, your existing Blue Badge will be cancelled. If the original badge is found, please return it to this office.

Found a Blue Badge

If you have found a lost Blue Badge, please:

  • call 01983 823340

  • email blue.badge@iow.gov.uk

  • return it to a Council Help Centre

  • return it by post to Blue Badge, PO Box 237, Newport, PO30 9FN
