Adult Social Care - Remaining Independent

Sensory Service

The Isle of Wight Sensory Service provides support for people living with sight loss, hearing loss or multiple sensory impairments.

The Sensory Service is currently delivered by Action on Hearing Loss who undertake the Council’s statutory duties to provide specialist individual assessments and maintain local registers of people with a sensory impairment.  The service also works with people to promote and support their independence by providing high quality information and access to a wide variety of resources, support and advice.
