Crematorium Lights Of Love
Bereavement Services are pleased to announce that it will be holding its annual Lights Of Love service again this year after having to cancel in recent years due to the covid 19 lockdown.
The service will take place at the Isle of Wight Crematorium on Friday 10th December at 7pm
After the service and lighting of the tree of remembrance everybody is invited to stay for a glass of mulled wine and mince pie.
All offerings raised on the evening will be donated to the Mountbatten hospice
To keep everybody safe on the night we are advising everybody who wishes to attend to wear a mask. Hand sanitiser will be provided
COVID-19 update
In line with the government easing of lockdown restrictions, the crematorium is now fully open. We ask all visitors to continue to wear a face covering when attending funeral services and when carrying out business in the crematorium office.
The Book of Remembrance Room will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 2pm.

- Collection of loved one's ashes

Crematorium web streaming service
We have installed new cameras and software and can provide live web streaming facilities. This service allows grieving families and friends to say their final goodbyes to their loved ones online. This digital service protects the online security of individuals private service and helps people to celebrate the life of their loved ones. Welcome to the Isle of Wight Crematorium
It is hoped that the rural woodland setting of the Crematorium will provide visitors with a haven for quiet contemplation and remembrance.

The crematorium is situated on the A3054 just off the East Cowes, Newport and Ryde roundabout. The full address is Station Lane, Whippingham, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6NJ

Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
Saturday and Sunday - 10am to 2pm
Bank Holidays - 10am to 12pm

The grounds are open throughout the year and the Crematorium Manager and staff are available Monday to Fridays from 9am to 4.30pm.
Weekend staff are available for limited periods during the weekends and public holidays.
