Reopening Update

Isle of Wight Council’s 1Leisure centres across the island will reopen on 28 July 2020.

The centres in Newport (Medina) and Sandown (The Heights) and Ryde (Westridge’s) are reopening with a phased approach and have introduced an abundance of strict new health and safety measures.

Initially only our Tone Zones will be available to existing members with a new price to reflect the service changes.  Additional cleaning procedures have been put in place, changes to the layout of the equipment, hand sanitiser stations and capped numbers of users at any one time.

Members must also book in advance using the online booking system found in the app. Booking means we can control numbers and help reduce contact to keep you safe.

The centres will also comply with the government's Test and Trace measures using the details available from members accounts.

A helpful video welcoming people back to the centres and highlighting the safeguards in place can also be viewed on the 1Leisure websiteFacebook page, Instagram account and YouTube channel.
