Non-Conformist Registers
Below is a list of Nonconformist denominations for which the registers are held by the I.W. Record Office. There are gaps where records do not survive, and we do not hold all registers from all chapels of all the denominations.

All the entries in the nonconformist registers up to 1900 have been recorded in our Personal Names Index. This is a card index that can be consulted in the Record Office's Search Room.
Some registers held at the National Archive have been microfilmed, and copies are held at this office. Members of the public wishing to consult these registers or print copies of actual entries are advised contact this office to book a microfilm viewier or printer in advance. Catalogues to Methodist and other Nonconformist records are available in the Record Office Searchroom (4.1 and 4.2 respectively). These catalogues contain the references to the administrative records of Nonconformists held at this office.
