Safeguarding Adults Board
The Local Safeguarding Adults Board (LSAB) is a partnership between the:
- Local Authority,
- the independent and voluntary sector.
The functions of the LSAB are:
- To publish a strategic plan for each financial year that sets out how it will meet its main objective.
- To publish an Annual report detailing what the LSAB has done during the year to achieve its main objective.
- Conduct Safeguarding Adults reviews when an adult in its area dies as a result of abuse or neglect. There is a concern that partner agencies could have worked more effectively to protect the adult.
