Annual Leave

From the 1 April 2012 all employees (including Senior Manager) are entitled to 28 days’ annual leave.  In addition to this allowance, all employees have an entitlement to three further days’ annual leave, comprising two ‘extra-statutory’ days and one additional day (pro rata for part-time employees).  These additional three days’ leave are taken between Christmas and New Year, enabling most of the Isle of Wight Council to be closed between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day inclusive.
