Information, advice and guidance services survey
Have your say to shape the local information, advice and guidance service
The Isle of Wight Council called on residents across the Island to have their say in shaping the future of local information, advice and guidance services.
The Council are preparing to renew the provision and wanted to ensure that your voice is heard. We were keen to hear from as many people as possible, including those who have used local advice services and those who may need them in the future.
A survey taking 5 to 10 minutes to complete ran between
- Monday 1 September 2025 to Sunday 29 September 2025
What happens next
The feedback gathered will help inform the design and delivery of the new service.
The service aims to support residents in areas such as
- housing
- welfare and benefits
- legal and consumer advice
- managing the rising cost of living
The council’s Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service plays a key role in promoting inclusion, independence and financial resilience.
It also offers support during times of crisis.
It is a statutory duty under the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to ensure that such services are effective and accessible to all.
