We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our team to provide general administrative and technical support including:

•  Registering applications working to strict deadlines.

•  Handling payment for fees and maintaining and reconciling financial databases.
• Maintaining databases, running reports, and compiling data for management.
•  Dealing with land search enquiries, working to strict timescales.
•  Booking and coordinating Surveyor’s site inspections.

To succeed you’ll need to have enthusiasm and be able to plan and prioritise your work activity, plus you’ll need to be self-motivated and able to work at times with minimal supervision.

Our team must work well to very strict deadlines in order to meet legal requirements, so the ability to work well under pressure and a flair for effective time management is essential.

Applicants will need to demonstrate confidence using general office applications including Word and Excel. You will need to maintain database records accurately and efficiently so a keen eye for detail will be vital along with strong numeracy skills as much of the work relates to financial data.  You will also be expected to proactively learn how to use team specific software, so confidence in using ICT in general will be beneficial.

You’ll be liaising with a wide range of people, dealing with enquiries via email and phone from building professionals, solicitors, and the general public. It is therefore essential that you possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and that you are quickly able to learn and understand the relevant technical terminology used in our teams.

Applicants will need a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent qualification) at Grade C (New Grade 4) in both English and Maths plus a Level 3 Business Administration qualification or demonstrate equivalent experience.
