Bembridge CE Primary is a happy, welcoming school in the heart of the community. Rated as Good by OFSTED with Outstanding behaviour, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant for our Key Stage 2, from September 2024.
Potential applicants should have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum, be able to work as part of a team, be highly effective in planning, delivery, evaluating lessons and achieving the best for the children.
The successful candidate will be working in close partnership with the class teacher to promote learning for all children and experience in the delivery of intervention programmes would be desirable.
In return you can expect a supportive and friendly team of staff and governors, continuing professional development and a supportive and experienced management team. Visits to the school are welcome.
Occasional lunchtime cover may be required from time to time.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning in School would be an advantage.
English and Maths to GCSE Level is essential.
