We need a Direct Payment Support Service Officer to join us in ensuring islanders have a smooth experience using our service.

Our team support adult individuals across the Isle of Wight with utilising Direct Payment to meet their assessed care needs. We work to ensure that the correct allocation of funds are applied to individuals in receipt of a Direct Payment on the island. As a team, we need to be precise and accurate at all times.

- Good numeracy skills and comfortable handling data

You do not need to have previously worked in finance; however, we are looking for an individual familiar with the pressures of a fast-paced working environment where deadlines need to be met and staff can work proactively and independently.

This role is currently planned to be both remote/agile working (the team work both in the office and from home). There will be a requirement to attend council offices in Newport once a week as standard.

Working hours will be 37 hours per week (7.5 hours Monday to Thursday 7 hours Friday)
