About the Role

We are looking for a confident and experienced Administrator to join one of the council’s most high priority areas. You will mainly assist with the delivery of the DWP Household Support Fund, which provides help to vulnerable people on the Island with the cost of food, energy, and other essentials.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong admin and organisation skills in an office environment.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Is good with numbers and comfortable working with data
  • Can communicate clearly, both in writing and speaking
  • Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Can work independently and take initiative

Experience with government grants is helpful but not essential.
