At The Adelaide, every person’s journey is unique, and we place them firmly at the centre of everything we do. As a member of our team, you’ll play a meaningful role in that journey.

The Adelaide is seeking to appoint a positive and committed Domestic Assistant who will be working within a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building. Candidates need to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of infection prevention and control and COSHH.

This valued role is essential to the wellbeing of those we support, and you will work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards are met every day. We have extensive cleaning and guidance to ensure everyone is kept safe due to the vulnerabilities of the people who stay with us at The Adelaide, and you will be provided with all necessary PPE and training to give you the skills and knowledge to understand your role.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Understands the importance of infection prevention and control
  • Has working knowledge of COSHH regulations
  • Takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment
  • Is reliable, proactive, and a great team player
  • Can be flexible and adaptable to changing needs
  • Is willing to work on a rolling rota which covers a mixture of mornings, afternoons and weekends

To support you in your role, we provide:

  • Comprehensive training in cleaning protocols and equipment use
  • Full PPE to ensure your safety and the safety of our residents
  • Clear guidance and ongoing support to help you thrive

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team where your attention to detail and commitment will make a real difference in the lives of our service users.
