The Federation of the Church Schools of Shalfleet and Freshwater & Yarmouth are seeking to appoint a part-time HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT to work across the Federation
Working pattern:
To cover PPA, week A at Freshwater & Yarmouth CE Primary as follows:
- Monday: all day in Year 1
- Tuesday: PM in Year 4
- Wednesday: all day in Year 3
- Thursday: all day in Year 2
- Total week A hours: 22 hours
To cover PPA, week B at Shalfleet CE Primary as follows:
- Tuesday: all day in Year 1
- Thursday: all day in Year 5
- Total week B hours: 13 hours
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA ready to make a real impact on children’s learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive Federation. The role will be working across both schools to cover the PPA of our teachers.
About You
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Has a proven experience working in a primary school setting
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills
- Is confident in managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning environment
- Is passionate about helping children thrive academically and socially
