An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager at Hunnyhill Primary School to join us in September. We are seeking a dedicated, highly skilled, innovative and enthusiastic individual who is able to think creatively and work in partnership with our Headteacher and senior leaders to contribute significantly to the leadership of our inclusive, caring and inspiring school. We are hoping to attract candidates with excellent business and administrative skills to lead on providing efficient and effective support services across the school.

We are looking to appoint a flexible, well organised individual, with enthusiasm and positivity to join our diverse and dynamic school. Being a two form entry school, Hunnyhill has a large staff and this role is pivotal to managing the HR responsibilities that arise as a result.  As well as being responsible for administrative and HR matters the successful candidate will also have oversight of the grounds and building maintenance of the school buildings in conjunction with our full-time Site Facilities Manager.  

You will advise on and implement the day to day support that enables the school to operate efficiently and effectively, allowing other members of the senior leadership team to focus on teaching and learning. The Business Manager will promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and alongside the Finance Manager also ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s strategic performance objectives and development priorities. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational person with:
• experience of human resources management;
• an excellent working knowledge of ICT systems; preferably a knowledge of SIMS software;
• excellent organisational, analytical and problem solving skills;
• strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• is proactive and can constantly reprioritise their workload as circumstances change
• has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• is caring and empathetic, with a good sense of humour
• wants to play a key role in the development of our school
