The Isle of Wight Councils Reablement and regaining independence service -The Adelaide Recently Rated by CQC as ""GOOD"" is looking for enthusiastic staff to Join the team to promote people regaining independence enabling them to return home or other suitable accommodation that is supportive of their needs, always ensuring the person is at the heart of everything we do which is paramount during a person’s journey of which you will be a part of.
You will Work to support Individuals to reach their goals in conjunction with the Management team, Senior support workers, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
We are looking to recruit to 30 hrs a week where by 16 hours are permanent and 14 hours are fixed term until 31/3/2023 alternatively this can be split into 2 positions of 16hrs permanent and 14 hrs fixed term
You will have a range of experience in working within care and a level 2 diploma in health and social care would be an advantage.
A willingness to train is essential, the Council offers an extensive training suite that will enable you to gain the skills and knowledge you require to carry out your role to a high standard and is very supportive in every employees personal development.
Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy. You will be supported and receive regular structured supervision.

The ASYE is intended to be the first stage of the continuing professional development for Registered Social Workers, and the framework will be closely allied to the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF).
