Are you looking to work in care in a non- traditional fashion?
The Isle of Wight Council are looking to recruit
enthusiastic Day Support staff to join The Goulding’s
Reablement Resource Centre on a range of fixed term and permanent
contracts of varying hours.
A scenic 20 minute drive from Newport, The Goulding’s is located in
Freshwater and is on a direct bus route.
Reablement is a targeted, person centred delivery of care focussing on
working with Individuals to identify and reach their own goals, supporting
them on their journey to regaining Independence. The start of that
journey begins in our bedded resource centre where you will enjoy
a rewarding, dynamic and versatile role, working alongside the
individuals who use our service, colleagues and a variety of other Professionals along the way.
A Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care would be an advantage, but a willingness
to learn is essential as is an appropriate knowledge of literacy and numeracy. You will be
supported with full training, regular structured supervision and Development opportunities.
