Community pantries and food vouchers
Join a community pantry and top up your weekly shop with a wide range of foods.
There are pantries in Ryde, Newport, East Cowes and Ventnor. There is a Community Larder in Pan for people who live in East Newport. It operates in a very similar way to the community pantries.
You need to become a member to take part. Joining a community pantry is not means tested and you do not need to be on benefits to go to the pantry. You can any pantry, you don't have to use the one nearest to you.
For £5 a week, you will receive over £15 worth of fresh, frozen, tinned and dry food. You don’t have to use the pantry every week. If you have specialist food needs, please talk to the pantry staff.
