About the Household Support Fund (HSF)
What is the HSF?
The Department for Work and Pensions' Household Support Fund for the Isle of Wight, is managed by the Partnerships and Support Services team within Adult’s Social Care and Housing.
Its purpose is to help those who need support with the cost of living, around food, utilities and wider essentials.
Our new delivery plan has been approved and schemes are set to launch from Monday 9 June 2025, some of which will run through to the end of March 2026.

What does the HSF cover?
The Household Support Fund covers the following areas
- support for food
- support for gas, electric and water
- support with housing costs
- support with debt and money management
- support from community organisations
- community pantries
