Domestic Abuse Partnership Board (DAPB)
The Domestic Abuse Partnership Board is a team made up of different organisations that work together to improve support for people subjected to domestic abuse. Their goal is to ensure victim-survivors and their children receive the right help. They also address abusive behaviours and holding those responsible to account.
The core aims of the partnership are:
- To ensure that the Island is compliant, meeting the statutory duties of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
- Through a strategic approach identify and address gaps in support, including undertaking needs assessments as required.
- Coordinate interventions to those using abusive behaviours to inform change and disrupt abuse.
- Develop a domestic abuse strategy.
- Share learning, recommendations and updates to enable a co-ordinated response to domestic abuse.
- Collect data to support the statutory required report to the Secretary of State and Domestic Abuse Commissioner's office using the standardised reporting tool.
