The councillors and officers of the Isle of Wight Council are deeply saddened to learn of the death of His Royal Highness, The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. K.G., K.T. and extend their heartfelt condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and members of the Royal Family at this time.

We remember with immense gratitude his lifetime of service to Her Majesty and the country and his fondness for the Isle of Wight.

1Leisure is back

The team at the Isle of Wight Council's 1Leisure facilities are hard at work getting the Island's best-known leisure and fitness venues ready for reopening. 

From Monday 12 April services will start to return, in line with the government roadmap, and the plan is to get back to the full 1Leisure service by  Monday 21 June.
