Islanders looking to boost their skills or explore new hobbies this autumn are being invited to take part in a fresh programme of workshops and courses from Adult Community Learning.

The programme, aimed at adults aged 19 and over, includes a wide variety of sessions ranging from arts and crafts to health and wellbeing. For those keen to improve their qualifications, free courses in English, maths and ICT are also available.

Councillor Paul Brading, chair of the Isle of Wight Council's children's services, education and skills committee said: “Whether you're looking to gain a qualification, try something creative, or simply meet new people, our autumn programme has something for everyone.

"We’re particularly proud to offer free online short courses across a wide range of subjects.”
