Dates and deadlines for admission appeals
These dates are subject to change.
Secondary school admission appeals
- Offer letters (for school places September 2024) sent: Friday 1 March 2024
- Appeal deadline: Thursday 28 March 2024
Any appeals lodged by the deadline:
- must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline
- parents must be given a minimum of 10 school days’ notice of their appeal hearing date
Admission appeal hearings
- Appeal hearings start: Monday 29 April 2024
- Appeal hearings finish: Monday 17 June 2024
Any appeals lodged outside of the timeframe will take place within 30 school days.
Primary school admission appeals
- Offer letters (for school places September 2024) sent: Tuesday 16 April 2024.
- Appeal deadline: Tuesday 14 May 2024
Any appeals lodged by the deadline:
- must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline
- parents must be given a minimum of 10 school days’ notice of their appeal hearing date
Admission appeal hearings
- Appeal hearings start: Tuesday 4 June 2024
- Appeal hearings finish: Tuesday 16 July 2024
Any appeals lodged outside of the timeframe will take place within 30 school days.
