Comparing prices for gas or electricity

When choosing a gas or electricity supplier, it's important to think about how much you will pay for your energy. There are lots of tools available to help you compare the prices offered by different suppliers. Price comparison tools offer an easy way to compare the prices from lots of suppliers at once.  Firstly find out how much you currently pay for the amount of energy you use and decide what tariff you want, you can compare the prices from different suppliers.

Either contact the suppliers directly for their best rates or you can use an internet price comparison website that is accredited by the Ofgem Confidence Code. The Ofgem Confidence Code confirms the information on the price comparison website is independent, accurate and up-to-date.
