Monday Drop in. Every 1st and third Monday mornings of the month, 10 – 12am. A chance to meet up and chat over a coffee.

Read the papers, browse, borrow, and request books, get advice on accessing the free apps available via the library service. Board Games, word searches and adult colouring are also available.

Reading Group for Listeners

We have a reading group for people with print disability, on the last Tuesday of each month 11 – 12am. The books are supplied by the Calibre Audio Library in “stick” format. The reading group is free to join, and all the talking books are free to borrow. Limited places, please apply via library.

Stitch by Stitch

Work on your latest sewing, knitting, crochet, tapestry etc project. Meet up with others regularly with whatever craft appeals to you. Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday morning 10 – 12am.


Twice a month on 2nd & 4th Tuesdays we have a half hour Storytime from 10 – 10.30. No need to book, just come along with your toddler.


1.30 – 4pm every Tuesday afternoon


10 – 12am every Wednesday morning

Library Reading Group

1st Wednesday of every month, 3 – 4pm. Reading books from the Reading Group Sets supplied by the Library Service for free. Limited places, please apply via Library


A weekly half hour session of rhymes, actions and songs that helps your baby or toddler with their language development, and allows you and your child to make new friends. No need to book – just come along. Every Friday from 10.00 to 10.30am.

Junk Modelling

2nd Saturday of every month. Boxes, crayons, glue – use your imagination. Junior activity.

Lego is out every Saturday morning and Duplo is out on Tuesday from 11 – 12 am on Storytime weeks & 10 – 12 on other weeks.
