Memorials

Memorial headstone safety testing
Memorial headstone safety testing will take place on Monday 17 June to Friday 21 June 2024.
Inspections will be taking place in Ashley Cemetery.

This is essential work to check the stability of burial ground memorials and to make sure they are safe.

Memorials that are loose or pose a risk to members of the public using the cemetery may be placed down alongside the grave. The grave owner will be contacted.

The utmost care and respect will be paid during this inspection.
