If so, read on…..

Following the agreed expansion of SEND provision on the Isle of Wight, Medina House is offering an exciting opportunity to join our school in setting up the Islands first Primary SEMH provision based in Chillerton. This provision will cater for up to 30 (initially 15) pupils who are diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

This post will be based full time at our Chillerton site and will involve leading a team of highly skilled staff in quality assuring the provision to ensure that all pupils’ SEN needs are consistently met. Whilst being based in Chillerton you will also be a part of the wider schools leadership team and have access to an array of in-house and external professional learning opportunities as well as cross-site working opportunities to learn and grow from senior colleagues.

We are looking for an outstanding professional with proven senior leadership experience, who has a commitment to high standards and to the constant progress of pupils with complex learning difficulties and the ability to work effectively with the whole school community.

This will be a non-teaching post however some time in class may be required but this will be discussed further in interview

Informal discussions and a visit to the Chillerton site are highly recommended. Please contact the school office to arrange these.

Closing date: Friday 5th September

Short listing: Monday 8th September
