The Island Transport & Infrastructure Forum (ITIF) brings together key stakeholders to consider strategic transport and infrastructure issues affecting the Isle of Wight and its connections to the mainland UK. The forum promotes collaboration, innovation, and long-term sustainability to improve transport systems for residents, visitors, and businesses.
The forum includes representatives from
- Isle of Wight Council
- Transport operators (Island and cross-Solent)
- Infrastructure bodies
- Business and community stakeholders
We aim to
- Improve accessibility, affordability, safety, and sustainability of transport.
- Support economic growth and community wellbeing.
- Enable access to jobs, education, healthcare, and essential services.
