This is an ideal opportunity for school leavers. A minimum of two vacancies have arisen within the 1Leisure team. As a Leisure team member Apprentice, you will be a member of a hardworking, busy team working with the members and customers of the 1leisure centres.
• As part of your role, you will undertake the daily supervision of children and adults using 1Leisure centre facilities, including maintaining changing facilities.
• Undertake duties on and off poolside as directed and required by management to meet operational manning levels
• Attend meetings and staff training as required.
• Ensure the day-to-day cleanliness of poolside, changing rooms are maintained through hourly checks as set out in daily schedules.
• When required, assist in other areas within the Centre.
As part of the apprenticeship you will also undertake a Level 2 in Leisure Team Member (CIMSPA). https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/leisure-team-member/
In order to undertake the scheme, you will need to be able to take and pass the STA Pool lifeguarding certificate (training provided)
