Contract Type: Fixed Term contract for duration of the training

This is an ideal opportunity for school leavers. A minimum of two vacancies have arisen within the 1Leisure team. As a Leisure team member Apprentice, you will be a member of a hardworking, busy team working with the members and customers of the 1leisure centres. 

As part of your role, you will undertake the daily supervision of children and adults using 1Leisure centre facilities, including maintaining changing facilities.
Undertake duties on and off poolside as directed and required by management to meet operational manning levels
Attend meetings and staff training as required.
Ensure the day-to-day cleanliness of poolside, changing rooms are maintained through hourly checks as set out in daily schedules.
When required, assist in other areas within the Centre.

As part of the apprenticeship you will also undertake a Level 2 in Leisure Team Member (CIMSPA). https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/leisure-team-member/


In order to undertake the scheme, you will need to be able to take and pass the STA Pool lifeguarding certificate (training provided)
